Nostalgia Drags
WHAT: Fuel and Gas Championships will feature nostalgia drag racers competing in 13 categories such as Top Fuel, Junior Fuel and Supercharged Gassers, as well as Hot Rods and Nostalgia Eliminator classes. The event is also race #4 of the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series. The weekend will include qualifying on Friday and Saturday and Eliminations on Sunday.

WHERE: Auto Club Famoso Raceway, Bakersfield, CA (33559 Famoso Rd, McFarland, CA. 93250)
SCHEDULE: FRI., May 30 – Gates open at 8a.m. Qualifying, time trials 9a.m. Top Fuel Qualifying 3p.m.
SAT., May 31 – Gates open at 8a.m. Qualifying, time trials and exhibition runs begin at 8a.m. Top Fuel Qualifying at 12:30 and 4:30p.m.
SUN., June 1 – Gates open at 8a.m. Eliminations begin at 9a.m. Opening ceremonies begin at 10:45a.m. Top Fuel Eliminations begin at 11a.m.
TICKETS:
GENERAL ADMISSION - $25 each day. AAA members receive a $2 daily admission discount when they show a current AAA membership card while purchasing daily tickets.
Juniors 7-12 are $10 and children six and under are admitted free with a paid adult.
